Local team. Local knowledge.
We skim, re-plaster and render Reading's Victorian and Edwardian terraces, 1930s semis and modern family estates — giving tired walls and ceilings a smooth finish and transforming patchy exteriors with modern, weatherproof render.
From Victorian terraces in central Reading to family homes in Caversham, Tilehurst and Earley, we build and renovate across the RG postcodes — just a short drive along the M4 from our Slough base.
Outside, a modern render gives a tired or patchy house a crisp, clean look and adds a weather-resistant layer that protects the brickwork for years.

Good questions.
Do I need permission for plastering work in Reading?
Re-rendering a house is often permitted development, but if your home is a flat, a listed building or in a conservation area you may need consent from Reading Borough Council (or Wokingham and West Berkshire councils on the edges of town). We check before quoting.
Which parts of Reading do you cover?
We cover all of Reading, including Caversham, Tilehurst, Earley, Woodley, Whitley, Emmer Green, Calcot and Lower Earley — and the rest of RG1, RG2, RG4, RG5, RG6, RG30 and RG31. Our team is based in Slough, so we can usually arrange a free site visit within a few days.
Which type of render is best?
Silicone render is self-coloured, flexible and stays clean for longer, so it's the most popular choice. Monocouche is a good one-coat option, and sand and cement suits traditional finishes. We'll recommend the best fit for your property.
Do I need permission to render my house?
Rendering is often permitted development for houses, but flats, listed buildings and homes in conservation areas may need consent. We'll check this for you.
